How do I log a headache?
Tap the + button on the dashboard or use the HeadSense widget on your Home Screen. Select your intensity level (1-5), pain locations, add optional notes, and save. It takes under 10 seconds.
What is the free trial?
New users get 4 weeks of free access to all Premium features including AI-powered reports, conversational AI, and data export. After the trial, core tracking features remain free. Premium features require a subscription.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone. You can change plans or cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my subscription?
Open HeadSense > Settings > Subscription, then tap “Restore Purchases.” This will restore any active subscriptions linked to your Apple ID.
Is my data private?
Yes. All your health data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. When you use AI features, data is sent securely to generate your report but is not retained after processing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I export my data?
Premium subscribers can export data as CSV or PDF. Go to Settings > Privacy > Export Data. CSV is ideal for spreadsheet analysis; PDF is formatted for sharing with healthcare providers.
How do I delete my data?
You have several options:
- Swipe left on individual entries to delete them one at a time
- Go to Settings > Privacy > “Delete All Data” to remove all entries and reports
- Go to Settings > Privacy > “Delete Account” to remove everything including trial data
Does HeadSense provide medical advice?
No. HeadSense is a wellness tracking tool that helps you identify patterns in your headache data. AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Why does HeadSense ask for location permission?
Location is entirely optional. If granted, HeadSense uses your approximate location to help identify environmental patterns (like weather or altitude changes) that may correlate with your headaches. Location data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings.
The widget isn’t updating. What should I do?
iOS controls widget refresh schedules. Try these steps:
